New Year's Dinner 2021 - Cabbage is back!

We are bringing in the new year with new flavors and old goodies. There is a lot of hope for this coming year. News of the new vaccine is definitely bringing anticipation. It will still be a long process, but this is hopefully the beginning of the end of the pandemic. I am looking forward to seeing and hugging my family and friends. I also miss traveling. These are my wishes for the New Year. What are yours?

Malfouf - malfouf is cabbage in Arabic, the native (Balabi) cabbage that grows in the middle east is a little bit different. Its leaves are softer, and its shape is narrow rather than round. In my continual search for innovative contemporary Israeli dishes. I’m always on the lookout for the new trends. On Instagram, blogs and Israeli cooking shows. If you follow those Israeli media platforms you couldn’t miss this beautiful dish. Israeli cuisine is bringing back the glory of the cabbage with a variety of different dishes. This dish elevates cabbage from a side dish to a main course, which I’m offering as a yummy New Year’s dinner. It is a whole stuffed head of cabbage. We are offering it two ways, a meat or vegan options. Check it out in our menu.
